anna (Annie) leibovitz Born in Waterbury, Connecticut on October 2, 1949Annie leibovitz was the third of six children,n high school, she became interested in various artistic endeavors, and began to write and play music. When Leibovitz returned to the United States in 1970, she started her career as staff photographer, working for the just launched Rolling stone  magazine. In 1973, publisher Jann wenner  named Leibovitz chief photographer of Rolling Stone, a job she would hold for 10 years. Leibovitz worked for the magazine until 1983, and her intimate photographs of celebrities helped define the Rolling Stone look. While working for Rolling Stone, Leibovitz became more aware of the other magazines. Richard avedon's portraits were an important and powerful example in her life. She learned that she could work for magazines and still create personal work, which for her was the most importantI think that Annie took this picture has been in a studio with a back screen making it look like the model is actually at a place like that, or this photo could have been taking at a place that looks like Disneyland, the lighting goes very bright at the top of the picture and then it gets darker where the model is..

Vee Speer's is an Australian photographer based in Paris. After studying at the Queensland College of Art, Speer's worked as a stills photographer for the ABC television. Since moving to France in the early 90’s, Speer's has worked in fashion, photojournalism and is today an established fine-art photographer. Her work has appeared in many prestigious publications, and has been exhibited in London, Paris, Japan, Italy, Tunisia and South America, as well as in her native country.                          I think this picture is based in a studio made to look like its on an outside wall like a house, and been edited to look old

 LIGHTING
I think this link is a good link to find out the lighting you can do, as its tells you a lot about the lighting and how you can get the best pictures by having good light.

First analysis

Factual-Perou was born in Norwich, in a small village in east Sussex  Perou had a very happy childhood, growing up in the countryside, Between 1991-1994 Perou studied for a BA Hons degree in Photography, Film and Video Arts at the University of Westminster. He started shooting for editorial clients like time out, skin tow and dazed and even confused magazine Context-this picture is one of a series of images, perou has taken an image of the singer Katy Perry.Technical-I think that Perou took this image of Katy Perry in a studio.Aesthetic-what i like about this image is that its clear, and the plain white background maked the singer Katy Perry stand out so she doesn't blend into the background.
